JMG will meet in February at at Gardner Hall room 1418 on the NCSU campus.
This is a temporary meeting place. We will return to JC Raulston Arboretum in March.
We have an exciting presentation this month with the Department of Entomology and Plant Pathology at NCSU. JMG groups will break-up into stations and rotate through these activities:
Microscopes with plants and pathogens
Bacterial inoculation of pepper plants
What plant pathogen are you? game
Microbiology culture plates
JMG participants are encourage to a small fruit to try an extract DNA from (strawberry, blueberry, kiwi) and/or a water sample from a pond or stream to look at under the microscopes.
